In 2003 Nason’s Creations was formed by Chris Nason to provide quality residential framing for the Seattle area general contractors. Through the years, our experience, team, and dedication to our craft have allowed us to progress into one of the Northwest’s premier framing and steel erection contractors. This progression was made possible by our passion for a trade that has seemed to of fallen out of favor by much of today’s generation. Our relentless attention to detail, combined with a stubborn and often considered unorthodox method of constructing the home are unparalleled. We approach the construction of the project with the full scope in mind and ask questions and address concerns that will ensure all follow-on trades have the simplest path to success. This attitude towards what we do has opened the doors for us to work with some of the Northwest’s most elite general contractors, architects, and engineers. In turn we have gained from them a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances that are a part of navigating through such intricate yet elegant designs.
In 2007 Nason’s Creations began to offer general contracting services. We began with the construction of speculative homes in the Renton area which led to our first custom home on Renton Hill. We have since continued to develop as a general contracting firm with the “on the ground” experience to guide design and development decisions to comprehensive and cost-effective outcomes. We believe that the building process should be completely transparent for the client even when mistakes or miss steps are made. Our attention to detail is brought forward from our accounting procedures, to the centering of a custom piece of art work with its surroundings. From a Traditional Craftsman style home on undeveloped acreage in Maple Valley, to a chic Northwest Modern home on a city lot in Bellevue, our experience and dedication to craft and design will make for a successful project.
Chris Nason, President
Chris was born and raised in the Puget Sound area and has followed three generations
before him into the construction industry. Chris has performed jobs ranging from managing and growing his Seattle Times paper route from age 10, to working as a “Weedge” for a timber faller at 13, and as a fabricator/welder through high school building trailer hitches and construction equipment. Along the way he has been extremely fortunate to have had some amazing mentors which have directly led to his success and work ethic. Being raised around entrepreneurs he started his first contracting company with his brother at 20 and has continued on with the formation of Nason’s Creations Inc in 2003.
He has a passion for building that is combined with a Bachelors in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Washington. This unique combination of craftsmanship and technical understanding give him an edge in the building of complex systems. He is a direct, honest, and passionate individual that truly enjoys his career and tries to project that energy onto the people around him.
In his down time Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. Whether they are camping, working around their property, taking the boys to swim lessons, or working on homework, when Chris is not at work he is with his family.
